Get to Know Carol...

What is your favorite business book?
Good to Great, James Collins

What is your favorite business quote?
“Greatness is won, not awarded.” - Guy Kawasaki

What did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to replace Dr. Dolittle and be surrounded by animals and make their lives fun. Since I didn’t do well in science type classes being a vet just didn’t seem practical in the end.

What’s the best piece of professional advice you have received?
Be yourself, believe in yourself, and be strong.

Why Accounting?
It all started because it came easy….as my career progressed I found out it really wasn’t easy and took a lot of hard work. However, what I also discovered was all of the wonderful people that I was getting to know. It also began to allow me to work with all types of people and help them solve their problems, whether big or small. Ultimately, the part I enjoy the most is helping others move toward their goals.
